  3. Ann says:

  4. Meagan says:

    Thank you so much!!!

  5. q says:

Thank you so much for letting us know the tv schedule. I’m going to record all of it.

  6. Sarah says:

I think that CBS or ABC should also cover the Olympics. Some people don’t get NBC and I was looking forward to watching the Olympics. I would be very pleased if CBS or ABC could cover the Olympics.

  7. Elise says:

I am So happy that Oxygen picked this coverage up!!!!! Last year I was so disappointed that Bravo did all the coverage and I did not get to see anything except 2 hours on NBC. I am so HAPPY …HAPPY….HAPPY!!! Thank you OXYGEN!

  8. Miguleto says:

Thank you for typing up a schedule. I couldn’t find it any where else. On the 21st it’s missing a station to watch it at. Nothing was posted for the 10th.
    Thanks so much!

  9. Dawn says:

I wish that the TV coverage was much more extensive. Seems like the horse events are always shorted in coverage.

  10. deirdre says:

nbc coverage impossible , try to find event and you end up with a 12 hour window no times.Thats 12 hours of vollyball and garbage I do not want to see for a brief flash of my sport, dressage. today is the 1st day of coverage , 3600 hours of this junk and tons of ads wii drive me mad , so I will wait till the tapes come out or watch on internet what I can.this has been so off putting I plan never watching nbc , msnbc or any of their network again. At least last games a lot less coverage but you could find what was on when and could enjoy your sport. I never want to see another swim or volleyball event as long as I live . I am switching off the dvr becuase it would take days of skiming thru just for a brief moment of coverage.

  11. lilriver says:

y does all the horse stuff have 2 b on sooo early!! like 2am!! i couldnt even find any of the dressage and eventing and i dont even think that i get oxygen!!!nbc really needs 2 take a longer time on that coverage!! all i wanna do is watch it 4 peeps sake!!! but thankz!!!!4 the scheldweld!!!

  12. Annie says:

This information is useful only if you have OXYGEN channel. As far as NBC’s coverage and showing that coverage, forget it. I watched all day on the 9th and never saw any equestrian events. Nor had any news of the events. Why the powers that be think swimming is more exciting than watching a performance with a beautiful animal and a person is beyond me. But the equestrian events have NEVER been covered by the networks.

  13. Neice says:

I think you should use stations to air events that are on the basic cable channel line up for everyone . I love to watch the Cross Country Events and am not able to find it anywhere

  14. Carla says:

I have been trying to view the equestrian coverage since it began. So far I have been unable to view any of the coverage. It appears that those of us that do not have cable channels are just out of luck, in spite of their advertising.

  15. karin says:

I have found the channels that cover the olympics, however, there is virtually NO coverage on equestrian events. The only thing I saw was 15 min of dressage and then they only showed the chinese and american rider. Even after I found the airtimes for the events when you zip through the channels there is NO coverage at the announced time. I do not want to just read about who won first I want to see it. This is absolutely ridiculous and a joke. All that is shown is swimming, gymnastics, etc.

  16. Eleanore says:

I did record some events on USA channel that are aired from 1-5 AM. I had to Fast Forward forever to get to the Dressage, but it was there complete.Glad to find Oxygen and will record all. Thanks.
General coverage of these events is shameful…as usual!

  17. Kate says:

I think that the coverage of the 2008 Olympic Equestrian events are good, my only complaint is on the specific chanels broadcasting them. I don’t have the Oxygen chanel, which shows the majority of coverage. I am alittle upset about that.

  18. Sandi says:

Thanks for the schedule, but like so many others, I don’t get the station that is showing the equestrian events. I get lots of the other Olympic coverage, but no equestrian. I will try to get up and see if there is anything on at 2:00 AM. There’s enough people interested in this sport, if the networks could figure it out, maybe we would get better coverage.

  19. Catherine says:

I haven’t been able to see even one equestrian event from the Olympics. It’s listed as being on the Oxygen channel but it doesn’t appear. What gives?

  20. Sandy says:

jeers and cheers–big kudos for Oxygen at least showing some equestrian coverage but jeers big time for the stations not advertising it nor any of the tv guides. it was just by accident i saw Oxygen’s coverage

  21. Julie says:

I keep watching the schedule you claim will show equestrian eventss but have yet to see a single event televised.
    Julie

  22. Rose says:

I haven’t been able to see a single equestrian event. I hate team sports, can’t stand the sun and fun of beach volleyball, I think that mark phelps has one of the biggest egoes I have ever seen and he has not exhibited sportsmanship like behavior and is an embarrassment to the USA teams… meanwhile I still haven’t seen one horse event!
Olympic sports are no longer about bettering oneself, but about showing off to others it seems. the exact thing we were taught was unsportsman like when we were kids. Rubbing others noses in it, and showing off how ,many medals we have vs how many they have…
AND WHERE ARE MY EQUESTRIAN EVENTS??? That’s it. I’m boycotting the Olympics from my own TV set!
What a waste of time. something to do while Rome Burns I guess…

  23. J. says:

Well luckily i get the oxygen channel, yet even the listings of the olympic equestrian events to be aired on the o channel did not produce it. On Tuesday the 12th i came home expecting to watch the events and some “Why I love dogs” movie was on in it’s place BOO! But so far i have had the opportunity to watch a bit of it, though it certainly was not an extended period of coverage.
I have been somewhat disappointed to have to watch all of the women’s volleyball and all of the swimming on the main NBC channels. Mix it up a bit with other events going on, granted right now is the swimming, gymnastics, and volley ball but I really don’t get into that much coverage everynight. To the person that felt that Michael Phelps was rubbing noses with all of his gold medals is really ludicrious! He just so happens to be about the best there is in technique and he seems very humble yet proud of his accomplishments and rightfully so!
Hope everyone gets to see a bit of their interests being aired on all of the NBC owned Channels! ENJOY IT! it only comes around every 4 years!

  24. autumn says:

i hope these comments are forwarded to nbc, other wise what’s the use?

  25. Amee says:

Most of the events have been swimming or track.
The obsession with these two sports becomes boring.
The equestrian events have been too early in the morning or on Oxygen which many people do not have.
I hope in 2012 there is much more coverage of the
equestrian events.Very frusrating for the viewers.
NBC has too much of a one track mind.

  26. S. says:

The horse events are held too late in the evening to view. Since we do not get the horse channel in Pa., no news on the horse events has been mentioned. It is as though the horse events were never held. Where can horsepeople see the horse events or get feedback regarding them at a decent hour?

  27. Barb says:

Who’s carrying the last event – 8/21 – 10:00 am – 1:00 pm – no channel is listed! Show Jumping Individual Gold Medal Final

  28. Christie says:

I don’t understand why the channels have to divide up the sports coverage from the Olympics. It is with great difficulty that I can even find equestrian events. Luckily I am able to watch the Oxygen network coverage from 6-8pm the past few nights, but I totally missed the cross country. Why can’t the events that take place at odd times be replayed at prime times? Why is equestrian any less important than 2 hours of ping pong or badminton coverage. I know many Americans are interested in equestrian events, so why is the coverage so sparce and only on channels that most people don’t even get?

  29. Lynn says:

Watching the Dressage Individual Gold Medal finals last night was breathtaking, however as there were only 2 American riders, did they REALLY have to cut for comercials as the 2nd American rider was in the ring. REALLY?!

  30. totally says:

Well, now that I’ve seen the lousy olympic coverage I can complain. Half the time the Oxygen channel didn’t come through properly and I completely missed most of the 3 day eventing. If it weren’t for this page I would have missed most of it. NBC only showed swimming for the first week and only one swimmer. A little ridiculous. I think Michael Phelps is great but he’s not the only athlete there. And I was shocked that they cut right into Steffen Peters’ dressage routine. They’ve had bad editing throughout. I sure hope you pass these comments on to NBC.
