As long as humans ride horses, the discipline debates will go on. Which is better, English or western? Which requires more skill, reining or dressage? Enlightened equestrians know that good horsemanship is good horsemanship, regardless of what kind of tack you put on your horse. Need proof? Watch this clip from the 2009 Royal Winter Fair in Ontario where dressage rider Jillian Sutherland and reiner Harvey Stevens show what they’ve got in a unique pas de deux.
