As horsepeople, there are a lot of misconceptions about what we do. The non-horsey folks seem to think we’re:

1. Filthy Rich
2. Somehow involved in Thoroughbred racing
3. Stuck in our own unrealistic childhood dreams
4. All of the above.

But it’s not just the equestrian-unacquainted who don’t quite grasp what we do. We’re often misunderstood by our trainers, our families, and at times, even our own selves.
