Welcome to Horse Illustrated’s Webinar Series! For our August 2026 installment, we were excited to welcome professional para equestrian Lauren Reischer.
Thank you to Lauren and everyone who attended our live webinar on August 27. If you missed it, you’re in luck—you can view the full video now, below (we recommend expanding to full screen).
About Lauren Reischer
Lauren Reischer was born with cerebral palsy and started therapeutic riding at age 3 by the recommendation of her surgeon after a reconstructive hip surgery. After “graduating” from therapeutic riding, she took to riding recreationally and competitively with hunter/jumper barns on Long Island, Ny.
Lauren is now a professional hunter/jumper rider who is devoted to cultivating the next class of riders with disabilities and giving them a path from therapy programs to the show ring. She continues to coach and advocate for greater accessibility and inclusion in equestrian sport.
