Organization: Second Stride, Prospect, Ky.

Get to Know Adoptable Horse Ten Lil Indians

Standing 16 hands high, Ten Lil Indians last raced on September 9, 2011 and was retried. Second Stride was not told of any injuries, and “Ten” is currently sound. She has had four foals, the last being in 2022 and she is eligible for the Retired Racehorse Project Broodmare Division! She is no longer breedable.

Ten is a sweet mare that is well-mannered and adjusting to being ridden again. She is sound under saddle but is still a bit tense while being ridden at this time. Second Stride expects this to get better with more rides. She is good for grooming, bathing and stands well for the vet. She is quiet in her stall and settles down quickly to graze while out. She has adjusted to Second Stride’s farm and her new routine very well and doesn’t seem to have any vices.

Ten will be suitable for any age appropriate discipline.
