Kristin Pitzer is a freelance writer and former managing editor of a western performance magazine. She participates in Stock Horse of Texas events with her Quarter Horse mare and lives in Fort Worth, Texas, with her husband and a menagerie of animals, including a retired Appaloosa mare.
