Lesley Ward

Lesley Ward is the founder of Young Rider, a magazine dedicated to teaching young people how to care for their horses properly and safely improve their riding skills. She is also the author of the Horse Illustrated Guide to English Riding, The Horse Illustrated Guide to Western Riding, Let’s Go to a Show (BowTie Press) and Jumping for Kids (Storey Books.) Lesley is also a photographer and regularly contributes images to Young Rider, Horse Illustrated, Horses USA and HorseChannel.com. Lesley lives on a farm in Kentucky and enjoys riding and caring for her horses Tee, Jasper and Gracie.
