Lisa Brewer has been taking in rescues and “problem” horses for more than two decades. She tries them all at eventing, and though many don’t have the desired boldness for cross-country, all have done well in suitable jumping disciplines. Lisa also writes children’s books inspired by the true stories of those horses.
