They come out perfectly clean and I air dry them outside in the sunlight.

I’m the director of a large summer horse camp each summer, and one thing we do is to let the kids use the brushes when bathing the horses twice per summer. It’s a great way to multi-task.

I would like to add that canned air works really well for clearing hair off clipper blades. Also, regular plastic toolboxes or fishing tackle boxes work well for grooming tools. They also close to keep everything dust free and the individual compartments keep things handy and separate from each other.
