I am 51 years old and started with three Tennessee Walking Horses five years ago when we moved in the country. I had ponies and horses up to age 10 and my parents tore the barn down and replaced the field with fruit trees. Wow was this a was disappointment. I never lost the love and the love of the smell of horses. I don’t get to ride much because my husband works long hours and I don’t get them out by myself. I also have advanced osteoporosis so the fear of falling scares me. My doctor said not to be climbing on a ladder. The first thing that I ask her was what about my love of horse riding. She saw tears in my eyes and said I can’t tell you not to.
