The Kentucky Equine Humane Center has several creative ways of raising funds to continue their work caring for abused, neglected and unwanted equines. They hold yard sales where they sell horse supplies and other donated items. They have an all-breed charity show scheduled for September. But if you’re not in the central Kentucky area and still want to help out, here’s a fun way to show your support.
The KyEHC has a Cafe Press site where you can buy a variety of merchandise with the Center’s logo. There are several varieties of t-shirts, messenger and tote bags, sweatshirts and even infant and toddler clothes. Not only do purchases help raise funds for the KyEHC, when you sport the logo you’ll be helping to raise awareness of the Center and its cause, and show your support for horses in need.
