2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games Photo Slideshow

From September 25-October 10, 2010, the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games took place in Lexington, Kentucky. The games were home to the world championships of eight international equestrian sports. More than 632 equestrians and 752 equine athletes from 58 countries came to compete in the games, held in North America for the first time.

Leslie Potter

Leslie Potter is a graduate of William Woods University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Equestrian Science with a concentration in saddle seat riding and a minor in Journalism/Mass Communications. She is currently a writer and photographer in Lexington, Ky. Potter worked as a barn manager and riding instructor and was a freelance reporter and photographer for the Horsemen's Yankee Pedlar and Saddle Horse Report before moving to Lexington to join Horse Illustrated as Web Editor from 2008 to 2019. Her current equestrian pursuits include being a grown-up lesson kid at an eventing barn and trail riding with her senior Morgan gelding, Snoopy.

  • VERY Disappointed ! ! !
    Boyd Excell recorded the highest score ever recorded in the history of the sport of dressage driving and you did not feature him! Also the USA took the team driving silver and individual medals.

  • The pictures were wonderful and exciting. Each horse and person with their own specialty. My hat is off to each and everyone of them. If you couldn't have been there, Horsechannel pictures are the next best thing.
