Red White and Blue Gear for Your Horse

If you and your horse participate in Memorial Day or 4th of July parades, or if you just want to sport a patriotic look around the barn, there’s good news for you. Lots of creative entrepreneurs are making custom red, white and blue tack and horse accessories. We’ve rounded up a few of our favorites from the current selection on Etsy. Take a look at some of what’s out there, and if you’ve accessorized your horse in your own style of Team USA gear, send us a photo!

Tack

CounterCanter’s rope halter is great for groundwork sessions and is available with a two- or four-knot noseband.

You’ll stand out at your next parade or games day with this fringe breastcollar from TiffanysBraidedTack. Bonus: this comes with a matching set of barrel reins and an over under with tassels.

Browbands:

This stars and stripes browband from My Buddy Bling is perfect if you want to make a bold statement. The stretchy fabric has loops that will allow it to fit on almost any bridle.

For a more subtle look, this beaded browband from TheBrassChipmunk provides just the right amount of patriotic bling.

Accessories

Horses and fireworks generally don’t mix, but you can make an exception for this 4th of July themed ear bonnet from Creative SeaHorse. A stars and stripes version is also available.

Custom polo wraps are all the rage, and your horse will look super patriotic in these red, white and blue star print polos from BobbiGees.

When you’re done riding, this bridle charm from DunLuckyCrafts can be moved to a purse, backpack or keychain for maximum accessorizing.

Fun Stuff

What can we say? Your horse needs this Uncle Sam hat from MyBuddyBling.

Also from My Buddy Bling, these “crin dreads” are a colorful, sparkly mesh tubing that can be braided into your horse’s mane or clipped into his mane or tail using the included alligator clip.

This neck rope is labeled for use when riding without tack, but you could also use it as a neck strap for jumping, or just to look fabulous wherever you ride. This product is sold by ReinsForRescues, and the proceeds go to care for horses at Triple Dream Farm in Pennsylvania.
