Winter pasture is $75@month@horse and hay is $200 a ton so I save $25= a month for each of my 4 horses. I don’t have to worry about frozen water, muddy corrals, or driving down the snow and ice covered roads, Plus, they get to be horses for awhile!

Good braiders make healthy livings with horses. It is not rocket science, but you need to learn a proven formula and get very good before going pro. The Lucky Braids DVD/Tool is a very effective way to learn. Plus, you can get one-on-one coaching at clinics. Find more tips on the TopTurnout.com website.

This way, you still maintain ownership, and you have control of the care of your horse. All these terms can be written in a care-lease agreement.

When my hubby’s health went down hill, I ended up sell/trading/leasing all but 3 of them. Now, that he is better, I have been thinking about getting back into rescue work, but then I have no time for riding. So let see how this summer goes.

Ive got 4 horses and my parents have land but wont let me keep them on it. So I work off board at one place then I pay a guy to keep one of my other horses one his land. But I plan on cutting it down to 1 horse this summer so I dont have to keep going through this!

Not much I could do to cut board expenses, however I do have a safety net in my parents. They own land, so if it ever comes down to it I have the option of moving them there. It’s an hour away, but I know they’d get looked after.
