She is a true hero, well, actually, all of the nominees are heros. My favorite breed of horse is a quarter horse, so I was incredibly interested in this competition. I’ve honestly never heard of it before. Now though, I’m really glad I subscribed to horse illustrated. I know that I’m just a twelve year old girl, but to me, Smokin’ on a star sounds like a real sweet horse with a winning personality. I hope she wins the silver spur competition.

With America at war, I think it’s fitting that a horse that helps our troops could stand as a patriotic symbol, regardless of how you might feel about the war itself. On the other hand, I thought that Smokin on a Star sounds like a life long partner to his owner. That man has truly come to love that horse. So I guess I’d be happy with either of those two horses as the winner.
