You dont have to spend $100,000 to do a study on how horses affect disabled people (although it’s nice of them to do so!) Just go to a theraputic riding program and watch! It will bring tears to your eyes to watch a child in a wheelchair get on a horse and have 4 good legs!

i work at a therapy barn with nine amazing horses and have seen first hand the amazing improvment i am so glad to see this treatment getting regagnized by more people. the horses and the kids do great together!!!!

I love to read articles like this! Horses are great therapy animals for children with special needs… I volunteer for a therapeautic riding center and it really helps the kids alot. Who wouldn’t want to be around horses?!!!
