thank heavens for your site to let me know what equestrian units to look for. I recorded both ABC and NBC and have to give kudo’s to NBC for their coverage of the Equestrian units. Should have watched HGTV according to the previous posts since I don’t get RFDtv.

HGTV coverage offers very limited commercial interruption of the parade. They only cut away once. And we got video with identifying “lower third supers” of each equestrian unit.
Also, according to the Long Beach Mounted Police website, they use multiple breeds, not just Quarter Horses. The only requirement is that they’re golden palominos with white manes and tails.

RFD=Tv showed the horses that were in the parade. It was really cool to see them. :o)

Nice site. Would like to see you post video of the horses as NBC/ABC doesn’t cover the horses very well or goes to commercial, and doesn’t know about horse breads.
