Great idea for a campaign!! Now, if only they would add the issue of soundness in thoroughbred breeding to this campaign, it would be perfect!

I need to agree also. I’m seeing people still breeding horses, and I just got my horse free from someone who knew she couldn’t sell him in this economy. I’m worried that people will start putting their horses down due to financial difficulty, lack of homes, cost of boarding, etc. We might have a big problem on our hands if breeding goes on unchecked in this economy.

That’s good. I hope it helps people think reasonably before breeding so there aren’t a bunch of unwanted horses who can’t find homes.

Great article, people need to realize the risks of breeding and the fact that the market is dropping and people can’t afford a unhealthy horse
