Hmmm, it's cool that they would do this, but I sorta doubt it will ever become a very 'important' holiday. I wonder if many families will even know about it. But I do know how people could celebrate it: attending rodeos, dressing up like cowboys/girls, having a good ol' barbeque ;) lol, I'll definitely want to wear my jeans and cowgirl boots when the day comes.
I do not think we need another holiday...there are many more ways to "honor" these wonderful people who helped to shape our history.
Do we really need another holiday? Another one to disturb the school year? The more holidays we add the less attention anyone pays to them. We really need to realize that these "holidays" are just treated like normal days. They become less and less important.
