The 122nd Rose Parade in Pasadena, California took place on Saturday, January 1. An estimated 700,000 spectators showed up on the cool, sunny day to take in the spectacle of this historic annual event.
Among this year’s equestrian entries were the Cowgirls Historical Foundation, Equine Extremist Tommie Turvey, Long Beach Mounted Police, The Shire Riders, Scripps Miramar Saddlebreds, and Region One Arabians. Saving America’s Mustangs, the group spearheaded by philanthropist Madeleine Pickens, had a float to raise awareness of their mission to preserve wild horses in their natural habitat.
The Rose Parade was broadcast nationally on HGTV and RFD-TV. If you missed it, view clips at KTLA.com
