The Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) Hunt Seat Finals will be streamed live this Friday through Sunday from Syracuse, New York. Visit the IEA website (www.rideiea.org) for instructions on how to view the competition and opening ceremonies. The western National Finals will take place in June.
Celebrating its tenth anniversary, the IEA was founded to promote and improve the quality of equestrian competition and instruction available to middle and secondary school students. Its purpose is to set minimum standards for competition, provide information concerning the creation and development of school associated equestrian sport programs. IEA also aims to promote the common interests of safe riding instruction and competition and education. Through the IEA, students have the opportunity to earn scholarships towards their college education.
The IEA is an affiliate of the National Reining Horse Association (NRHA), United States Equestrian Federation (USEF), the United States Hunter Jumper Association (USHJA) and the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA).
