I have been attempting to update contact info. The equine search is a mess. I was told by some rescue groups to record their info into the canine databases.

The information about your electronically-identified horse can be entered on a database such as the International Equine Recovery Network (IERN) or the Horse Identification Program (HIP) of the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association.
http://www.electronicidinc.com/ is no longer in service. They used microchips manufactured for horses by Destron/Fearing. See USDA entry below.
