My all-time motto…EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED.
UNLESS you can read your mounts mind 24-7-365, the ONLY WAY you can give your ONE AND ONLY, GOD GIVEN BRAIN, all the possible protection is to wear a helmet while around your horses. One time, one accident, can change not only your life forever….but your entire family.
A TBI can be with you for life….or worse.
WHY TAKE A CHANCE ?????S

Great article that I personally support, as I use go teach and manage a 4-H program and the use of a helmet and body protection is more important to use with equine activities than almost all other sports. I support You!!!!!

My daughter-in-law refuses to change my diapers if I get a head injury so a helmet it is!

Never had a helment, althought I know that I should wear one…If I cant win one,well have to go out and buy one… In your older years, need to protect all of your body parts!!!

I am a firm beleiver in helmets, my 2 daughters and i neverget on a horse without one. My oldest daughter has actually had 2 falls where she cracked her helmet, and was fine thanks to her helmet!!
