Meet the U.S. Show Jumping Team for the 2014 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games

The United States Equestrian Federation has named four athletes to the Hermès U.S. Show Jumping Team for the 2014 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games. Additionally, one horse-and-athlete combination has been as the Traveling Reserve, and five horse-and-athlete combinations have been named as alternates.



The following horse-and-athlete combinations have been named to the Hermès U.S. Show Jumping Team for the 2014 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games (in alphabetical order):

Lucy Davis (Los Angeles, Calif.) will ride Old Oak Farm’s Barron

Barron is a 2004 Belgian Warmblood gelding.


Kent Farrington shown here with Up Chiqui

 

Kent Farrington (Wellington, Fla.) will ride Amalaya Investments’ Voyeur
Voyeur is a 2002 Dutch Warmblood gelding.


Beezie Madden and Cortes C

 

Beezie Madden (Cazenovia, N.Y.) will ride Abigail Wexner’s Cortes ‘C’ or Simon
Cortes ‘C’ is a 2002 Belgian Warmblood gelding.
Simon is a 1999 Dutch Warmblood gelding.


McLain Ward and Rothchild

 

McLain Ward (Brewster, N.Y.) will ride Sagamore Farms’ Rothchild
Rothchild is a 2001 Warmblood gelding.

The following horse-and-athlete combination has been named as the Traveling Reserve to the Hermès U.S. Show Jumping Team for the 2014 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games:

Margie Engle (Wellington, Fla.) will ride Elm Rock Partners, LLC’s Royce

Royce is a 2004 Oldenburg stallion.

The following horse-and-athlete combination has been named as alternates to the Hermès U.S. Show Jumping Team for the 2014 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games (in alphabetical order):


Katie Dinan and Nougat du Vallet

 

Katie Dinan (Wellington, Fla.) and Grant Road Partners LLC’s Nougat du Vallet
Nougat du Vallet is a 2001 Selle Francais gelding.

Lauren Hough (Wellington, Fla.) and The Ohlala Group’s Ohlala
Ohlala is a 2004 Swedish Warmblood mare.

Charlie Jayne (Elgin, Ill.) and Alex Jayne and Maura Thatcher’s Chill RZ
Chill RZ is a 2003 Zangersheide stallion.

Reed Kessler (Lexington, Ky.) and Kessler Show Stables’ Cylana
Cylana is a 2002 Belgian Warmblood mare.

Jessica Springsteen (Colts Neck, N.J.) and Stone Hill Farm’s Vindicat W
Vindicat W is a 2002 KWPN gelding.
