I am on the the Barnesville Pumpkin Festival Parade Committee and we are looking for interested horse hitches to participate in our parade this year. It will be held on Sept. 24, 2022 at 12:00 in Barnesville OH. Would someone please send me information to contact folks who would be interesting in being in the parade. It is one of Ohio’s largest parade held. Please any help would be welcome and any one who would be willing to participate. Wonderful article. Thank you so much for sharing! I saw one viewer commented on a horse powered parade in Maryland. Perhaps next year you could do a listing of all the horse parades, to help folks find one close to them.

This is great! I love hearing of more and more of these parades. I just participated in another all horse parade in Lisbon, MD Saturday, December 13th. It was about a 90 minute route and we had a total blast!
