Breeders??? Cup goes Live

Although the Breeders’ Cup races will never supplant the Kentucky Derby in cultural importance, it is often considered the world championship of Thoroughbred horse racing. For all things related to the two days of grueling, high octane racing, there’s a new website: www.breederscup.com. All 11 races that make up the two-day championships will be broadcast live on the site. This year, the annual Breeders’ Cup races will be Oct. 26-27 at Monmouth Park in Oceanport, N. J.  Prize money and awards total over $23 million.
