Live webcasts of top hunter/jumper competitions now available


The Wachovia Securities American Gold Cup Horse Show, Sept.19-23, and the Kentucky National Horse Show, Sept. 26-30, are the latest to join the growing number of horse shows presenting live webcasts of the action. The Wachovia Securities American Gold Cup is a premier five-day show jumping event that attracts top international, professional and amateur competitors to the Cleveland Metroparks Polo Field in Moreland Hills, Ohio. More than $230,000 in prize money is awarded in 20 different classes. The grand finale—the $100,000 Wachovia Securities American Gold Cup class—is held on Sept. 23, and is a qualifying event for the 2008 FEI World Cup Final in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Webcasts are also available live from four rings at the Kentucky National Horse Show, Sept. 26-30, at Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Ky. The Kentucky National Horse Show offers $200,000 in prize money and exciting competition, including the $50,000 CSI-W Lexington World Cup Qualifer, the $25,000 Prix de Lexington, MidWest Regional Maclay Championships, Show Jumping Hall of Fame Junior and Amatuer-Owner Jumper Classic, as well as other top championships and hunter and jumper classes.
