NCHA World Finals Underway

The National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA) World Finals are underway at the Amarillo National Center in Amarillo, Texas, Feb. 6-18, and the top 50 2007 NCHA money earners are putting on a fine show. This year’s World Finals has 466 entries, but that number comprises only the horses and riders who ranked among the top 50 in their respective divisions during 2007. According to NCHA rules, they are the only teams eligible to compete in this 5th annual event.

Finals Night is scheduled for Feb. 16, and the payouts are big, but all told there’s a whopping $608,528 in prize money up for grabs over the course of the 13-day competition.

Tickets for the NCHA World Finals are available onsite at the Amarillo Visitor Information Center, but if you can’t be there live, you can register for free webcasts to catch all the show’s action on your computer.

For more information about the event, the free webcasts and the latest Finals results, visit www.nchacutting.com.
