The 2007 Sport Horse National Arabian & Half-Arabian Championship Horse Show is celebrating its fifth anniversary Sept. 26-30, at the Virginia Horse Center in Lexington, Va. The event began on Wednesday with three rings of dressage classes. Dressage continued on Thursday and Friday, along with the sport horse in-hand class, sport horse under saddle, the jumper mini prix and the Half-Arabian/Anglo-Arabian sport horse show hack class.
This weekend’s schedule is as follows: Saturday, Sept. 29: Opening Ceremonies/Anderson Arena Musical Dressage Freestyle demo Pleasure Carriage Driving Sport horse Supreme Champion in Hand Arabian Sport Horse Show Hack
Sunday, Sept 30: Hunter Classic
The Sport Horse National Arabian & Half-Arabian Championship Horse Show is the only sport horse show offered by a breed association. From dressage to hunter jumper to pleasure carriage driving and more, the Arabian and half-Arabians prove themselves to be some of the best horse athletes in the world.
