USEF Announces Show Jumping Squad for 2008 FEI World Cup Final

April 17, 2008–Now that the last of the show jumping World Cup Qualifiers are complete, the United States Equestrian Federation has announced that 10 riders will represent the United States at the 2008 Rolex FEI World Cup Final (seven from the U.S. East Coast League and three from the U.S. West Coast League). The Final, which will be held in Goteborg, Sweden, April 23 – 27, showcases the world’s best show jumping riders who qualified for the event by accumulating points throughout the competition year at designated FEI events.



Rider Kent Farrington had a lock on the U.S. East Coast League, with 107 points after winning three of the 12 East Coast Qualifiers; Rich Fellers won two of 11 qualifiers offered in the West and topped that League with 95 points.
