Clinician Line-up Sparkles at Western States Horse Expo

The list of headliners for this year’s Western States Horse Expo, June 8-10 in Sacramento, Calif., reads like a “Who’s Who” of the equine world. In addition to headliners Pat and Linda Parelli and Linda Tellington-Jones, presenters include Bob Avila, Al Dunning, Denny Emerson and Nancy Loving, DVM. The line-up represents experts in numerous disciplines, from three-day eventing and natural horsemanship to recreational trail riding and hackamore reinsmanship. Equine cloning, a topic that raises great discussion and debate among horse owners, will be featured in a forum presented by Genentec.

In a welcome twist to the standard exposition presentation, this year’s Horse Expo will donate proceeds from the Equine Dream Art Show to the Carroll Shelby Children’s Foundation, a charity that raises money for heart transplants for children. In addition, the Expo is sponsoring “equine experiences” for three Make-A-Wish Foundation youth. For more information on all the activities offered, visit www.horsexpo.com.
