It works miracles. I have never met a snarl that could stand up to a few spays of M&T Detangler and finger combing. After a thorough dousing the hair stays easily managable for several days. It is designed to strengthen the hair which helps it grow longer. I am continually amazed at how helpful it is. Every summer when like half my horse’s tail breaks off, Detangler has it fetlock length by January. I am never without this stuff. It also gives the hair a tacky texture so braids, bands, thread stay in, but without making it greasy or attracting dust.
