Video of the Week: Guy McClean and Nugget

At last weekend’s Road to the Horse competition, Australian trainer Guy McClean earned the championship title by taking a young, unbroke colt and transforming him into a willing partner over the course of a weekend. If he can turn in an astonishing performance after just three days with a horse, imagine what he can do over a lifetime.

McClean purchased his stallion, Nugget, as a colt and their longtime partnership has helped him become a popular and respected clinician around the world. McClean considers Nugget his “best mate.”
