Featured Video: Horse Overcomes Fear of Ditch

Everyone is afraid of something. It could be spiders or snakes or heights or death. Animals are often scared too. It could be loud noises that send them running or a ditch that stops them in their tracks. For one horse, it’s definitely the ditch. As he approaches it, he stops short, clearly hesitant to cross it. It’s almost as though he thinks he’s going to fall right through it. Instead of turning around and going back the way he came or backing up and going around it, this horse faces his fear head on and takes the leap. Big time. Perhaps it’s a lesson for everyone: if you don’t try, you’ll never know if you can do it. Chances are once you do, you’ll want to do it again.

Is your horse afraid of ditches too?
Help him get over his fear.
