Spectators at a Southern California Reined Cow Horse Association show back in May of 2015 witnessed a pretty incredible sight: A well-trained horse working a cow without a rider.

The 8-year-old mare, Shine Di Light, parted company with her rider, but that didn’t stop her from getting the job done. Watch her at work:

Shine Di Light finishes her Cow fence run without her rider!!!Amazing moment at the Sherri Gilkerson Memorial show, produced by the SCRCHA – Southern California Reined Cow Horse Association, this past weekend. After parting company with her owner, Gianna Hansen, the 2007 mare Shine Di Light (Boonlight Dancer x Shining Di x Shining Spark) made two fence turns and circled up all on her own.
