Ever seen loggers climb poles with a rope and pegs on their feet….these raccoons straddle the metal pilings like wildfire, up 30′. What to do….will they ever leave…uh?

I STEP ASIDE AND ALLOW THEM TO GO ON THEIR WAY AND DO THEIR THING.
MY SISTER’S JACK RUSSELL TERRIER, SNOWDEN, IS A GREAT HUNTER AROUND THE BARN, TOO, BUT LET’S JUST SAY HE’S NEVER GOING TO SNEAK UP ON ANYTHING. HE’S A RATHER NOISY HUNTER: RATHER VOCAL IN HIS ENTHUSIASTIC PURSUITS.
JUST TO BE CLEAR: I’M ALL FOR PRESERVING NATURE. HONESTLY, I DON’T EVEN KILL SPIDERS OR CRICKETS IN MY HOUSE. I MERELY TRANSPORT THEM OUTSIDE. BUT I DO HAVE TO PROTECT MY HORSES– AND MY EXPENSIVE TACK– FROM THE DISEASES & DESTRUCTION THAT COME FROM SOME UNINVITED CRITTERS.

My dog has caught more mice than my cat though. Last summer a rabbit ran out of the barn- I don’t mind visitors, but if they damage anything, let’s just say u may never see them again. Oh, there was a snake in my barn too one time, that is the only animal including rats that are absolutely not allowed inside my barn at any given time!

The presene of a cat in your feed room and all the mice and rats just disappear, Of course you must be sure it is neutered.
