I think I just cut my lip holding in the laughter that followed me seeing those pictures. I am at work, an animal ER, and this is lifting my spirits on this dismal day. You are truly blessed to have a husband so dedicated to you and your passion. I give him an A+ for trying, and you a gold star for making the best of the situation!

THANKS FOR ALL THE COMMENTS, INCLUDING THOSE THAT FOUND THEIR WAY TO ME PERSONALLY. MY HUSBAND MEANS WELL. BUT SOMETIMES I HAVE TO TELL HIM TO JUST PUT DOWN THE RAKE/MANURE FORK/HALTER/FEED BUCKET/LONGE LINE AND STEP AWAY FROM THE HORSE.

This is hilarious! I laughed when I saw Wally’s fly mask done up Lady Gaga style! Your husband seems really helpful, you should see if he could get payed to rake the arenas at the olympics, just don’t let him see the horses ruin his masterpeice!

This made me laugh…and recall that my husband has his own inventive way of putting splint boots on:) At least he does remember them before he turns a horse out!! And he is always so proud when he points out that the horse is wearing proper turn out wear. Like you, I don’t want him to feel defeated or embarrassed so I simply “fix” them as inconspicuously as possible and go about my business.
