Adoptable Horse: Cheyenne Pony, a 12-year-old 14hh American Paint Horse mare
Organization: Humane Society of North Texas in Fort Worth, TX

This week’s Adoptable Horse, Cheyenne Pony, has the moves to win any horse lover’s heart! You will fall in love watching her run around the pasture and frolicking with her friends. She has the cutest face and eye-catching color. Her tail just begs to be braided—so if you love to braid, Cheyenne Pony could be your girl.

Little Horse, Big Heart

Under saddle, this girl doesn’t seem to know she’s little. Cheyenne Pony is usually ready to go, walk trot, and canter, and does best with consistent work (at least a few times a week). She has solid manners when asked and gets along well with others. She is up to date on her vaccinations, coggins, dental care, farrier and is microchipped.

Cheyenne Pony’s Perfect Match
She will need at least an intermediate rider because of her willingness to move forward, she tends to have more go than woah, and she will need an assertive handler because due to her impatience at waiting, sometimes she can get pushy.
