Horse: Salted Cloud, a 17-year-old 16.3-hand chestnut Thoroughbred mare in Lexington, Ky.Organization: Kentucky Equine Adoption Center
Salted Cloud is a flashy Thoroughbred mare who has blossomed in her short time at the Kentucky Equine Adoption Center. She came to us with several physical issues, however, after being on a medical hold for a short while, she is now ready for adoption. Salted Cloud was a broodmare for some time before arriving at the center but is now ready for a new career. After being evaluated under saddle at the walk, trot, and canter, it seems she would be best suited for an intermediate to advanced rider.
