A Horse to Remember

June 1st was the day I said my final goodbyes to Ted. While today is the anniversary and it will of course be on my mind, not a day goes by that I don’t think about him.

Ted was so much a part of my everyday routine. It was a big adjustment to not have him there anymore. In addition to those daily moments–seeing his head over the gate every morning and evening, and tucking him in with a hug every night—we had a lot of great memories together.

Like the party I threw for him:

I try not to miss Teddy too much, and instead remember to celebrate everything that was wonderful about having him in my life as long as I did.  So, cheers to Ted today!
