(The recipe calls for distilled, but I use tap.)
He doesn’t get greasy or slick, either. I don’t blanket, so don’t know if this would help with this, but it’s worth a try?

Plus, we benifit from each other’s body heat!). When I dismount, the static electricity/friction from my dismount zaps him and makes him think I’m the I-Zap-U-B4-I-Eat-U Monster!
