Welcome to Horse Illustrated’s Webinar Series! For our September 2026 installment, we were excited to welcome Brittney Atras from the Retired Racehorse Project.

Thank you to Brittney and everyone who attended our live webinar on September 29. If you missed it, you’re in luck—you can view the full video now, below (we recommend expanding to full screen).

About Brittney Atras

Brittney joined the RRP team in 2026 as Individual Giving Manager, where she focuses on growing support for the organization’s programming via donor stewardship.

A second generation racetracker, Brittney has spent her life immersed in the Thoroughbred industry, working in racing, sales, media, and equine rehabilitation. She is a graduate of the Godolphin Flying Start program and has held roles that connect people to the sport and the horses at every stage of their careers.

She lives in Lexington, Kentucky, where she spends early mornings at the track as a trainer and assistant trainer. Outside of work and the racetrack, she can usually be found riding her OTTB, Royal Albert Hall, or adventuring with her Australian Shepherd, Ginny.
