About Shelley Paulson
Based in Minnesota, Shelley Paulson has had a love for horses from a young age. She has long been a creative, having started her career in graphic and web design. Her passion for creativity and creating meaningful images transformed into her photography career, and she quickly discovered a love for teaching and mentoring.
For 10 years now, Shelley has been fully committed to her equine photography business. In recent years, she has transitioned from a focus on portrait work to working primarily in commercial and editorial photography. This has led to Shelley’s work being published with Horse Illustrated, Young Rider, and other publications—as well as for use by major brands like Farnam and Nutrena. Along the way, Shelley continues to mentor other equestrian photographers.
