Get to Know Adoptable Horse Trooper

Trooper is a sweet soul with the ground manners and handleability of a gentleman. He is well behaved for farrier and vet, and he’s a nice companion to his pasture mates.

Trooper is beginner-safe on the ground, but best suited to a confident advanced beginner or intermediate rider, as he can be forward. He’s been extensively trail ridden for the past few years but can be “looky” so again, Trooper is best suited to a confident rider.

He wears front shoes and was surrendered because he couldn’t keep up with younger horses on long distance rides. His groundcovering walk and pace are butter-smooth under saddle. On the longe line, Trooper has a trot that a dressage horse would envy, but has not offered a trot under saddle. If you’re looking for a sweet natured horse with a bit of pep in his step to join you on casual trail rides, Trooper is your your guy!
