Adoptable Horse: Tag, 15-year-old 15.0hh Quarter Horse gelding Organization: Wild at Heart Horse Rescue, Lancaster, Calif.
Tag is definitely a “more whoa than go” type of ride. He’s coming along in the arena, working on softening transitions and softening to the rider’s hands as well as staying in front of the rider’s leg. He has started his introduction to trail (and comes from a home where he did quite a bit of it), and while he is not the most confident, he is giving it a good honest shot, which is all we can ask for.
