Deworming the Difficult Horse: Most horse owners know that a parasite control
program is an essential part of equine management, but not all horses
cooperate. This course offers advice on correctly and safely deworming horses
that put up a challenge when it’s time to administer dewormer.



Instructor: Horse Illustrated Senior Associate Editor Holly Caccamise received her B.S. in Biology and her M.S. in Animal Science with a specialization in equine nutrition and exercise physiology. She worked for a year as a professional groom, and is training her 4-year-old Appaloosa to be an eventer.
