Young Rider magazine is partnering with Noble Equine to introduce young riders in to the wonderful world of horses with their “Bring a Friend to the Barn” promotion, running now through the end of the year.

“Our industry is always looking to bring new riders in,” said Young Rider Publisher Pat Trowbridge. “We are very pleased that Noble Equine is joining us in this initiative to promote the joys of riding to non-riders.”

Young Rider is asking its readers to be ambassadors for the world of riding, taking a non-horsey friend to their local barn and share experiences like riding, grooming or taking lessons. Readers will submit a picture of the two along with a short essay (fewer than 200 words) to Young Rider. Every rider who participates will receive a pair of Over the Calf Peddies socks from Noble Equine. A lucky few will appear in a future issue of Young Rider and receive a Noble Equine Ringside Pack (value: $89.99) and a one-year subscription to Young Rider.

“Our readers are wonderful representatives of the industry,” said Young Rider Editor Lesley Ward. “They are passionate and dedicated to their riding and their horses. Visiting the barn with one of them is an excellent way to turn potential new riders into horse lovers.”
